We propose to carry out a first deployment to validate the technical feasibility of the ZEHNS. This deployment will be carried out on a reduced perimeter but which integrates the whole of the driving conditions posing problems to the autonomous vehicles. We will equip an area including a tollbooth, rest areas and interchanges. To be able to validate the POC of the ZEHNS it will be necessary for the roadside units to be in sight with the installation of one roadside units every kilometre. A specific vehicle tracking device will be deployed.
The zone will start at the Saugnacq-et-Muret interchange and end at the Labouheyre interchange for a total length of 30 kilometres.
